Indian Springs

We had our first camping trip of 2013 at Indian Springs and it was a success!
This camper has caused quite the headache over the past couple of summers, but it ran well this time and we had a blast.

It was Carson's first campout and he had a blast riding on daddy's back.

Strolling around the Campground

Headed to the Pool

Yikes! We came across this guy on our way to the pool. Yes, he was alive too.

Walking to the pool the girls discovered this weird contraption. They asked, "what is this". Ha! Ha!
They had no idea what a telephone booth was. That makes me feel old.

Carson gearing up for his first swim.

Carson loved the 90 degree water and the girls loved swimming with him.

Grandma came up from Rockland for some croquet and smores.

Playing old school video games in our old school camper. Flash back to the 80's!

Little Cuties

Elizabeth discovered that her Build-A- Bear's sun glasses fit Carson perfectly.

It is pretty sunny outside, so we need to protect Carson's head and face from the sun. He looks so grown up in his little John Deere cap.

Party Girls
These girls were so excited to get invited to their friend Isabelle's birthday. Their shirt says, "this is my party shirt". What little cuties they are.

Texas Pioneers

This post is a bit out of order, but I finally figured out how to get pictures from my email onto my blog. My parents left for their 6 month mission on April 15th. They will be serving in Martin's Cove, WY and giving handcart tours. They ran into some bad weather on the way up to Wyoming and were delayed about 3 days.

When they thought the coast was clear for them to drive their 5th Wheel up to the site where they will be living for the next 6 months, they were involved in an accident. Fortunately, they were not hurt, but they were delayed even longer and they actually missed their first few days in the MTC. A combination of high winds and ice caused the accident. SEVERAL Thousands of dollars of damage was done, but they are okay now. I am sure this is a minimal set back compared to what the LDS pioneers experienced as they traveled west for religious freedom.

Growing Up Way Too Fast

I can't believe how fast this boy is growing! He is almost crawling now - it's just a matter of time before he will be all over the house. He gets up on all fours and rocks and takes two little crawls forward and then falls down. He loves to move! He has become quite the challenge lately when it comes to get him to sleep. He just doesn't want to slow down. When I lay him down for a nap or bedtime, he just wants to scoot around his entire crib and not lay his head down. Fortunately though, when he does finally fall asleep, it is usually for several hours because  he has worn himself completely out. He has ONE tooth now on the bottom and  loves to bite things (good thing I weaned him from nursing about a week before his tooth came in). This boy is so much fun. I couldn't imagine our family without him.

Let's Play Music Recital

The twins finished another year of Let's Play Music - They are so excited for next year cause they get to start playing the piano! They each did great singing their songs and playing their bells.

Last Dance Competition of the Year!

The girls ended their competition season here in Pocatello at the Idaho Dance Fest. Their dances did very well.

Emily - Poodle #1- Cupacake

Abigail - Cotton-Eyed Cowgirl

Elizabeth - Poodle #2 -Fluffy

Ready for he Circus - One Brick at a Time

The Dance Down - I am so proud of Emily for trying for her first time. It was a scary thing and she did it! Note: a dance down is where they learn a new dance for 10 minutes and then perform it in front of the judges and who ever performs the dance the best, wins the dance down.

Abigail is workin' it at the dance down (purple leo and striped socks). She took 2nd place this year and her good friend Kassidy got the 1st place trophy (other purple leo). Good job girls!

Big Kahuna

This kid is 7 months old now. He is growing up way too fast! He is so much fun. He squeals with delight, sits unsupported, is growing a bottom tooth, and rocks back and forth on all fours. He loves fruit and baths and is a happy, easy going boy.

ISU Children's Chorus Tour

Abigail has had a great time singing with the ISU Children's Chorus this year. They finished out the school year by touring different Elementary Schools and sharing their music with their audiences. Their favorite song they performed was Mary had a Blues in which they got to wear sunglasses and rock out on the risers.

Senior Missionaries

Grand Nan and Papa left on their mission for Martin's Cove on April 15th. On their way to the MTC they ran into some bad weather and were involved in a car accident. It was quite the fiasco! They had quite the delay and lots of damage to their truck and 5th wheel, but we are so glad that they were not bodily harmed. We wanted to say our goodbyes and so we headed to SLC to visit them and Heather and Shane. We toured Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake and had some good family time despite all of the gnats.
