Lots of Family!

Grand Nan & Emily with Papa & Elizabeth
Heather & Emily with Harrison & Elizabeth
Grandpa Del with the twins.
Darin's cousin Leslie with the twins.
Grandma Mimi with Abigail & the twins.

We haven't blogged since March 12th because it has been a little crazy here at the Ralphs home the past two weeks. Harrison and Nan flew in on Sunday, March 16th for a visit over spring break. Carl came up on Wednesday, March 19th. Heather came up after her last mid-term on Friday, March 21st. Del & Mary Ellen arrived on Saturday, March 22nd and on Easter Sunday we had the babies blessed followed by a wonderful Easter dinner for 23 people. The Stockers left the on Monday, March 24th and Darin's mom and dad left on Friday, March 28th. We have had a blast, but we are quite exhausted now and glad to get our lives back to some kind of normalcy. It just makes us so happy that there are so many people that love and care about us that they would come visit us over their vacation time.

Blessing Day

The Ralphs Girls

We blessed the twins on Easter Sunday. We were so lucky to have both sets of grandparents at the blessing plus a few other cousins, aunts, and uncles. Darin did so well, I was really proud of him for holding it together through two blessings. The twins did great too! They didn't make a peep. We are so blessed to have so many people that love us and our children.

Easter

Abigail got 12 baby chicks for Easter - she can't wait until she can go out and collect their eggs.

Emily's 1st Easter with her soft bunny rabbit.
Elizabeth's 1st Easter with her 1st stuffed animal from the Easter bunny.
The Easter Bunny was good to Abigail - A new bunny rabbit, a book and a cute easter hat.

Old MacDarin Had A Farm

We have decided to put the land around our house to use and raise our own food. Hopefully, we don't get too attached to these animals.

Baby Chicks - Six Yellow, 3 Black, 3 Brown - they should be laying eggs by August.

We were raising this Holstein Bull Calf to be butchered this fall. Unfortunately, he died three days after we got him from pneumonia. We only paid $25 for him, I guess you get what you pay for.

Our Pigs - Penelope (pink) & Petunia (spotted). We hope to butcher one this fall and keep raising the other one to eventually have piglets.

The Twins are Two Months Old!

Wow! Time really flies when you aren't getting very much sleep. I can't believe it has been two months already.

Abigail & Emily

What Cuties! Sisters - Abigail & Emily.
Elizabeth opted not to be in the picture; she had a stuffed up nose that was making her very angry.

Compare and Contrast

Left - Emily & Right - Elizabeth (2 months old)
Abigail (2 months old)

We have had so much fun comparing pictures of all three of our girls. As the twins grow we look back at pictures of Abigail and try to decide who looks like who. You decide and take the poll.

So Hungry

Emily tried holding her bottle today - she wanted to make sure it wasn't going to get away from her.

Abigail's Dance Competition Video

Here is Abigail's Dance Competition Video - Her class won the Gold Medal for her age group! We were pretty excited. Click on the link to watch. She is the littlest green clown (she is the youngest in her class). You can't see much of her because the video is taken by one of the yellow clown's mothers, but you can see a little bit.

Abigail's 1st Dance Competition

Abigail went to her first dance competition today. She danced to a song called, "I want to be a circus clown" I'm not really sure what they judge 3 & 4 year olds on, but the whole thing was adorable.

Abigail's Funny Quote of the Day

On Friday, I was cleaning the bathroom and I started singing and dancing to get the job done a little faster. Abigail came by to see what I was doing and she said, "Mommy, what are you doing? That's not the potty dance." I couldn't help but laugh.

Fashion Statement

Abigail is a very opinionated little girl when it comes to getting dressed for the day. I have decided to give her a little freedom when it comes to getting dressed on days that we don't have to go anywhere. This was her choice for Friday; it was especially creative. From head to toe: white mesh shirt, which is on backwards with a black leotard underneath, off white lace dress up skirt, blue flowerdy leggings, hot pink socks, and to finish off the ensemble strawberry short cake shoes. Oh My!

Chef Boy-R-A

Abigail was playing really well in her room on Thursday and she said, "mom please come to breakfast" she likes to pretend like she is cooking in her kitchen. I told her that I would come to breakfast after I finished feeding the babies. A few minutes later Abigail came into my room and said, "Mom here is breakfast in bed" this is what she cooked for me. She said it was a hamburger, but it really is goldfish mashed with water, and some toys in the mix. Bon Appetite! Good thing she let me pretend to eat it!

Happy Babies!

Elizabeth - Smiling
Emily - Smiling

The twins are smiling pretty consistantly now - if we smile at them of course. We tried to capture one of their first smiles on camera.

Elizabeth - So Worn Out

Elizabeth is the baby that insists on being held if she is awake. She finally gave up and fell asleep. I was just afraid to move her because I didn't want her to wake up!
