Abigail had eight little friends over for a dress-up tea party to celebrate her 5th birthday. The little girls had a blast dressing up, wearing make-up, getting their picture taken, playing musical chairs, playing pin the lid on the tea-pot, and doing a pinata. They got to use real tea-cups for their lunch, which made them feel really special.

Happy 5th Birthday Abigail
Abigail is 5 today. She got a bike for her birthday. I can't believe how much she has changed in the little time we have known her.
The Finger
Every day Abigail gets up in the morning and goes outside to greet her cats and dog. Friday morning was no different except for when I heard the door shut a scream followed. I quickly went toward the screaming voice and found Abigail with a very bloody smashed finger. I soaked the finger in cold water and looked for some pain reliever. After realizing that this was not just a little injury, we went to the doctor's office to have her finger examined. The doctor immediately sent us to the emergency room for x-rays. After getting x-rays, having her finger cleaned and glued back together, Abigail will have this nice little finger splint as her companion for the next couple of weeks.

Glacier National Park
Our family vacation this year was to Montana's Glacier National Park we had a great time with the Stocker Family and the Booths were able to join us too because they are living up there for the summer doing some work.
A very fat and happy Black Bear. This picture was taken from inside our car.
Abigail had this crazy idea that she should go swimming in Lion Lake (fed by glacier water). We told her it would be cold, but she wouldn't take no for an answer. She isn't looking at the camera because she is jumping up and down saying "COLD!"A very fat and happy Black Bear. This picture was taken from inside our car.
The mountains and valley wer formed by glaciers hence the name Glacier National Park. They were absolutely magnificent.
You might be a tourist if you take a picture by the entrance sign.
Nature Walks in Glacier
Harrison and Thomas were our pack mules for the most part of the vacation. The twins had a blast going on nature walks with the big boys.
A postcard perfect waterfall. The whole gang.

Fun Visit With Cousins
Abigail has had a blast this past week. She was able to play with her cousins Ariana and Jacob, who live next door now, but the real treat was that she spent the whole week with her cousins Madeline and Isabella. We haven't seen Madeline and Isabella since we moved almost two years ago to Idaho. The girls had a blast and the moms survived 7 kids under the age of four for one week. ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfx4gTLg5gGjVNFkB1WMX1ilV1epitcQdc2eBhbfGBBFe3MTdMOH9gqwfjribeplLueN5r8xbAnQBu0Bu-uAAUfWjpuyfNAE4C3B76hqS5DdDjWDQ6X_h2ofBVGdoh3UXddMWYG9DrUFrX/s320/100_9658.JPG)
