Glacier National Park

Our family vacation this year was to Montana's Glacier National Park we had a great time with the Stocker Family and the Booths were able to join us too because they are living up there for the summer doing some work.

A very fat and happy Black Bear. This picture was taken from inside our car.
Abigail had this crazy idea that she should go swimming in Lion Lake (fed by glacier water). We told her it would be cold, but she wouldn't take no for an answer. She isn't looking at the camera because she is jumping up and down saying "COLD!"
The mountains and valley wer formed by glaciers hence the name Glacier National Park. They were absolutely magnificent.
You might be a tourist if you take a picture by the entrance sign.

Nature Walks in Glacier

Harrison and Thomas were our pack mules for the most part of the vacation. The twins had a blast going on nature walks with the big boys.
A postcard perfect waterfall.

More Fun in Glacier

Abigail and Darin fishing at Mountain Meadow RV Park. They went fishing twice, once in the pond and once in the river and did not catch a thing. Better luck next time.

The twins had a great time on the playground at the campground.

Lagoon

We had a Ralphs Family Reunion at Lagoon in Farmington, Utah. There were 97 people in attendance and Abigail had a blast riding the rides. She is finally tall enough to get on some decent rides.

Fun Visit With Cousins

Abigail has had a blast this past week. She was able to play with her cousins Ariana and Jacob, who live next door now, but the real treat was that she spent the whole week with her cousins Madeline and Isabella. We haven't seen Madeline and Isabella since we moved almost two years ago to Idaho. The girls had a blast and the moms survived 7 kids under the age of four for one week.

PLAY OUTSIDE

Elizabeth

The kids spent hours every day playing outside in the Texas HEAT (99, 100, 101, 102, 103). They loved to play in Grand Nan's Sand Box and Swing on the swing. We took them to a park that I played at as a child and we only lasted 20 minutes before we were way too hot to play any longer. We loved getting snow cones on those hot summer days.

THE RANGERS GAME

Pa Pa and Grand Nan took Abigail to her first Texas Rangers Game. She had a blast! She enjoyed her foot-long corn dog and really liked the fireworks show at the end of the game.

CHUCK-E-CHEESE

All three girls got to go to Chuck-E-Cheese with Grand Nan and Pa Pa. They had alot of fun playing games, eating pizza, climbing around in the jungle gym, and riding rides.

SWIM

Abigail turned into quite the little fish while we were in Texas. She learned how to jump off the diving board and swim to the side all on her own thanks to Grand Nan and Stocker Swim School.

Happy Father's Day

We are away from Darin this year for Father's Day and we just wanted to let him know that we love and miss him. I asked Abigail why she loves her daddy and she said this,
"Because He's Funny"
"Because He Has a 4-Wheeler" Her answer, not mine (material possesions are never a good reason to love someone)
"Because He Takes Care of My Puppy"
"Because He takes Care of Me When I'm Sick"
"Because He is Helpful"
"That's all"

Stocker Swim School has Summoned Us

We are in Texas now. I am teaching swimming lessons again this year for my family's business in Texas The Stocker Swim School. I have been so busy since we arrived that I haven't even unpacked. We arrived at 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning after driving all day Sunday and Monday. Darin stayed in Idaho to hold down the fort. Abigail is having a blast being a social butterfly and playing with all the kids that come by the Swim School. The twins are doing pretty well, but struggling a bit with having mom work. I will upload some pictures of our trip when we get back to Idaho.
