3 Months Old

Time is flying by at turbo speed! Carson is already 3 months old. It seems like time goes by so slowly when you are pregnant, but as soon as the baby comes, boy does it fly by. Carson is such a good happy baby. We love him so much. He coos and smiles and gave us his first giggle.

We love the bowtie onesies that everyone made at the baby shower . Carson looks so daper in his bowtie ready for church.

Happy New Year

One of our New Years Eve Activities (see balloons below) was to go sledding up at ISU. It has been really snowy lately and we had to take the opportunity to play in the snow.

For New Years Eve, I filled each balloon with a piece of paper with an activity on it and the girls would pop the balloon each hour until midnight and we would do the activity as a family. I think they liked it and it may be an activity that we need to repeat next year.

2012 Christmas Festivities

Our Christmas Festivities began this year with cookie making. We made cut-out sugar cookies for Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Mark, and of course, Santa.

And Orange Julius' to drink

After Breakfast the kids opened their sibling gifts, they each drew names. Abigail drew Carson and got him a playmat. He was so excited he slept through the whole thing and Abigail had to open his gift.

Emily gave Abigail a Lip Gloss Chemistry Lab.

Not Pictured - Carson gave Elizabeth a remote control monster truck.

The Magic of Christmas

DSDS put on another fabulous Christmas show. The twins were in two dances, a ballet number called Jingle, Jingle, Jingle (which Abigail did when she was three), and a Jazz/Hip Hop Number called Poodle Party which was a mix of songs that used the word "dog". Abigail was in four dances, a tap number to Nuttin for Christmas (which I did not get pictures of because we were in a rush), a ballet number to Oh Come All Ye Faithful, and her competition dance to Cotton-Eyed-Joe, and of course the finale. We spend a lot of time and money dancing these days, but it is totally worth it cause the girls love it!
