Great Quote

I think this quote will be my new year's resolution.

Coming together is a beginning.
Keeping together is progress.
Working together is success.

Christmas Greetings

At Christmas time our hearts reach out to friends we think of dearly,
And checking through our friendship lists, as all of us do yearly,
We stop awhile to reminiscence and pleasantly review,
Special talks, happy times and things we used to do.
And though we've been to busy to keep in touch all year,
We send a Christmas greeting at this season of good cheer.
So Christmas is a lovely link between old years and new,
That keeps the fond of friendship forever unbroken and true.
Poem By: Helen Steiner Rice

Merry Christmas to all of our blog readers!

Who is that Santa?

If you look at the eyes, you might be able to tell who Santa Claus is. If you can't figure it out, I will tell you anyway, It is Darin. Darin was asked to be the Santa Claus at the Elementary School Concert and he agreed to have kids sit on his lap for about an hour after the concert as a proxy for the real Santa Claus. I think he had a pretty fun time doing it. We decided not to take Abigail because I didn't want her to be confused, but the twins could care less. How funny!

We've been good girls. We promise!

Santa Claus Came To Rockland on A Fire Truck to visit all of the good little girls and good little boys and Abigail wanted to make sure that he knew that she has been really good this year.

Peek-A-Boo With Elizabeth

Elizabeth loves to play peek-a-boo! She thinks I can't see her when she hides. What a silly girl.

Thanksgiving Vacation in Park City

Our Condo at The Canyons in Park City. We stayed at the Westgate Resort. My dad and Harrison trying to teach Shane how to play their favorite game Cribbage.

Cousin Thomas & The Twins. Thomas is my (Misty) brother Lonny's oldest son. He is currently living with my mom and dad in Texas and we were so glad to spend some quality time with him. The girls loved him. I have met few 15 year old boys that were so good with babies and Abigail just adored him; they were great buddies.

Hanging Out At the Westgate Condos

Abigail is listening to Itty Bitty Stories told by Papa Stocker. He is famous for his bedtime stories about a little mouse named Itty Bitty. Bathtime for Emily in the sink.

Ice Skating

Abigail has been asking to go ice skating for over a year now and she finally got her chance in Park City. She did pretty well, only one face plant on the ice.
Heather and Shane (Heather's fiance) took Abigail Ice Skating. What a cool Aunt and future Uncle!

The Olympic Training Center

We visited the Olympic Training Facility in Park City. We were able to go on a tour and watch the athletes practice the Bobsled, Louge, and Skeleton. In the picture, there is a female athlete doing a run on the Skeleton.
Thomas (my nephew). This is the closest he got to skiing on our vacation.

Temple Square & The Heber Creeper

We took a train ride on the Heber Creeper. They were doing The Polar Express. It was really fun for Abigail to ride the train, drink hot chocolate, and listen to the story of Polar Express. Santa and Mrs. Claus boarded the train and gave each child a cookie and a bell.

We went to Temple Square to look at the lights. I don't have any pictures, but they were magical. We also saw the movie Joseph. Wow what a great movie on church history. Below is a floating nativity in the pond next to the SLC Temple.

Elizabeth's First Pony Tail

I was able to get Elizabeth's hair up into a little pony tail for church last Sunday. She looked so cute and so grown up with her new hair-do. Welcome to the world of fixing your hair Elizabeth.

Some Cute Pics

Elizabeth refused to take a nap the other day so I put her in the play pen to play until she got tired. Looks like it worked.
Heavy drinker! Emily likes to snatch Elizabeth's bottle from her as a back up reserve.
I love my Abigail! What a cutie!
