Whew! What a Competition Season!

March & April are chalk full of music festivals and dance competitions.

In the midst of everything - Abigail, Emily and Elizabeth were recognized as DSDS dancers of the week.
Abigail and Kassidy's Reflections dance Believe by Josh Groban won the Award of Excellence for the entire state of Idaho. Their choreography is now being considered at the National level. They had to miss the awards ceremony for a dress rehearsal, so we took them for pedicures.
I found the following pictures on my phone when I was cleaning the pictures off. What a cute girl I have!

Abigail and Kassidy had a blast at the JUMP dance convention this year. They loved learning from the pros.

My student Nina Forest won The Distinguishd Young Woman award for Pocatello and got $4,400 in scholarships. Because I am not all-knowledgeable when it comes to pageants, I enlisted the help of my friend Melanie. We are so proud of Nina and Melanie will be taking Nina all the way to state!

My music students participated in the Northern Cache Valley Performing Arts Festival. Abigail got 1st place on her vocal solo and 1st place on her vocal duet, she also received honorable mention for her piano solo and the twins got 1st place for their vocal ensemble.

 This team can dance!

We went to Texas over spring break, but I haven't gotten those pictures to my computer yet. That will have to be another post.
